However, as I’ve spent more time in the hobby, I’m getting the impression that we might have done TOO good of a job delivering our warning about Old Worlds, as our often exaggerated and hyperbolic approach has led many folks to be terrified of these creatures. Whether it's overzealous members of forum and Facebook groups admonishing keepers for getting into Old World species too soon, or viewer-hungry YouTube personalities harping on how "dangerous" and "venomous" they are, we often do this amazing group of spiders an injustice by how we portray them. In this episode, we'll take a calm and informed look at this oft-maligned group of spiders as I share my experience and tips for working with them.
